Services
Workforce
Investment Act (WIA) Youth Services are only available to
eligible individuals. These services include:
High
School Completion Services
- Arrangement of tutoring, study
skills training and instruction that will lead to high school
completion.
- Assistance obtaining a High School
Diploma through alternative secondary school offerings
Paid
and Unpaid Work Experiences
- Internships, job shadowing and
summer employment opportunties
Scholarships
for Post-Secondary Education and Training
- Up to $3200 per year is available
to youth pursuing an Associate Degree.
- Scholarships are also available for short-term
training and education
Support

- Arrangement of childcare and
transportation services
- Adult mentoring and comprehensive guidance
and counseling
